Producer - Any individual who is an owner with direct financial interest in pork production in NC and is actively involved in the business production of porcine species.

Employee of Production Co./Integrator - Any individual who is employed by a Production Co./Integrator who is actively involved in the business production of porcine species.

Employee of Contract Grower - Any individual who is employed by an owner of porcine species with direct financial interest in pork production in NC and is actively involved in the business production of porcine species.

Allied Member - Any individual who is involved in a company or industry that is allied with or otherwise supportive of pork production in NC.

Producer & Employee of Production Co./Integrator - Any individual who is both a producer and an employee of a Production Co./Integrator based on definitions above.

Producer & Allied Member - Any individual who is both a producer and an allied member based on definitions above.

Employee of Production Co./Integrator & Allied Member - Any individual who is both an employee of a Production Co./Integrator and an allied member based on definitions above.

Processor - Any individual who is involved in the handling and processing of pork products in NC.

Friend of the Industry - Any individual who does not fit into any other category, but is supportive of pork production in NC. Friends can include educators, livestock agents, persons active in the prepared food industry, and others participating in NC Pork Council sponsored events and activities.
